Services & Pricing

Breather pipe — all waste water and toilet tanks require a correctly routed breather pipe to allow the tank to vent without odour entering the vehicle cabin. Many DIY and older conversions are missing this component. We install breather pipes to meet certification requirements as part of the same visit where possible.

Outstation fee — we are based in Takanini, South Auckland. Travel to locations outside central Auckland (North Shore, West Auckland, beyond Pukekohe, etc.) incurs an additional outstation fee from $50 depending on distance. Contact us before booking to confirm the fee for your location.

Mobile service — we come to youNo need to bring your vehicle to a workshop. We travel to your location anywhere within the Auckland region — your home, driveway, campsite, or storage yard. Frequently asked questions

How long does the inspection take? A standard inspection takes approximately 45–60 minutes. If breather pipe installation is required, allow an additional 1–2 hours depending on the vehicle.

What if my vehicle fails the inspection? If your vehicle does not meet the requirements we will advise exactly what needs to be rectified. You can book a re-inspection once the work is completed. The re-inspection fee is $190.

What vehicles can be certified? Any motorhome, campervan, or converted vehicle with permanently installed toilet and waste containment system. Portable toilets must meet MBIE self-containment standards — contact us if unsure whether your toilet qualifies.

Do I need a new certificate if I sell my vehicle? The certificate is issued to the vehicle, not the owner. It transfers with the vehicle and remains valid for 5 years from the issue date regardless of ownership change.

Is this the same as a WOF? No — self-containment certification is completely separate from a Warrant of Fitness. Both are required independently.
