Caravan Front LED Marker Light – White, 12V/24V, Surface Mount, Oval (Pair)
Description
Caravan Front LED Marker Light – White, 12V/24V, Surface Mount, Oval (Pair)Front marker lights on a caravan or motorhome serve two functions — they mark the width of the vehicle at night for other road users, and they are a legal requirement under NZ road rules for vehicles over a certain width. These oval LED marker lights replace factory incandescent marker lights with a bright, low-current LED alternative that draws significantly less power and lasts far longer than a conventional globe.
White for front — the NZ and international standardFront-facing marker and clearance lights are white or amber under both NZ road rules and international standards. These are white LED — correct for front fitment. If you are replacing rear marker lights, amber or red is required — these are not suitable for rear fitment.
12V and 24V dual voltageCompatible with both 12V caravan and campervan electrical systems and 24V commercial vehicle and truck electrical systems. No voltage selector or resistor required — the LED driver circuit handles both voltages automatically.
Surface mount installationThe oval body mounts directly to a flat or slightly curved surface using two screws through the pre-drilled fixing holes at each end of the light. The pigtail wire lead connects to your existing wiring — positive and negative leads. Waterproof construction suitable for external mounting.
Reflector surroundThe clear lens incorporates a honeycomb reflector pattern around the LED centre — this adds passive reflectivity when the light is off, increasing visibility of the vehicle even without power. This is the same design principle used in OEM European caravan marker lights.
Sold as a pair — left and right included (symmetrical design, no left/right specific fitment).
